The Shop depicts a turbulent day in the life of a kind-hearted North Shore neighborhood hairdresser who has to make a difficult decision regarding an eccentric longtime customer and friend who hasn't been paying for her cuts.

Within the confines of a calligraphy lesson taught by an oppressive teacher, students relive critical moments before they were sent to be reeducated by the invading nation, while hovering letters threaten to erase the past entirely.
