Decades later, Alberta presides over the struggling Local Paper and is on the verge of uncovering a major story that could have massive implications for the town and the decaying factory at its center.

 

Alberta will stop at nothing to get to the truth, seeking whistleblowers, digging through corporate recycling bins, and even donning disguises. Her resourcefulness as an investigative journalist is only matched by her determination to raise her son Joey to intellectually punch above his weight and escape becoming another casualty of “a world gone styro.”
